It would be great to have the ability to create "stacks" of objects within an idea space. For example, I have an idea space that I use to store model numbers and serial numbers of stuff I buy, along with a photo of the item's receipt. I currently put the text stuff (item name, model, serial, date of purchase) on 1 index card, and the photo of the receipt on a second index card that I group with the first. It would be much neater to be able to stack the second index card with the photo behind the first index card with the text, since having 2 index cards per item takes up a lot of screen real estate.

On a related note, I'm using 2 separate index cards because I can't seem to place a photo and text within the same index card. When I try to drag in a photo, it overwrites the text and takes up the whole index card area. If I drag the photo first then try to type after it, the formatting is difficult to manage. It would be nice to be able to drag ia photo to an index card and have the photo placed within (or before, or after) the existing text.

Thanks!

For z-ordering you can select your figures and use the Arrange > Send Backward (or Bring Forward) to move them behind or in front of others.

For index cards, here's a tip. Normally an index card body item is just a single asset figure. Meaning it can be a text figure OR an image figure OR a document asset figure, etc.

However, Curio supports rich text figures which can include graphics. So, double-click to edit the body text then paste in an image and it will be mixed in with the text.

Note that this trick messes up the body lines so definitely turn those off (via the Index Card inspector under the Display tab).

Ah, yes, the Arrange -> Send Backward works fine. I never thought to create my stacks manually, but that definitely meets my needs.

I'll play around with text and images within the body of an index card.

Thanks for your reply!
