Yes. This is what I hope Curio 8 supports.

I tend by comparison to start with a mind map for the topic at hand, expand it on one Idea Space, and then trim portions to separate Idea Spaces. In other words, rather than developing in Curio as though it was a linear PowerPoint presentation and then linking in a map, I do the map and then parse it in a linear manner.

LinkBack is one feature that was an immediate use for me as well.
