Curio 1.1.1 Release Notes

April 4th, 2004 — a quick update to fix some performance problems in 1.1

Curio 1 runs on macOS Jaguar (10.2) or above, with Safari.

New Features

Idea Space: a new item in Preferences, which is off by default, will print the background grid. This setting is also used when using File > Share > Mail PDF. This can also be set on-the-fly with a new Print panel accessory.
General: new Preferences to hide/shrink toolbar and hide organizer when going into full screen mode.

Idea Space: much faster redraws now - text figures in particular have been greatly sped up.
Idea Space: idea space thumbnail genertion is now over 30x faster: no more spinning beachball or periodic pauses with complex documents!
Idea Space: if the image is resized, say to its natural size, we now re-render the cached image for nicer looking images.
Idea Space: Select All now works if only scribbles are on the screen.
Idea Space: Select All now grabs the far edges of the scribble region.
Idea Space: copy and pasting asset figures between ideaspaces in different projects now works correctly.
Idea Space: images with a mask will now show transparently if shadows are turned off.
General: when printing or exporting PDF with fit-to-page activated we make sure we don't scale the result to a bigger size that it's original.
General: the Send Feedback mail message doesn't have the ghost character at the end of it.
General: rearranged and added new menu items to more closely adhere to Apple's Human Interface Guidelines.
General: now disabling the Share menu options if the dossier is visible.
